Wiltshire Wildlife Trust's members provide vital income to support the work of the Trust. South West Wildlife Fundraising Ltd (‘SWWFL’), wholly-owned by Wildlife Trust charities, provides fundraising services for 12 Wildlife Trusts across South & West England and Wales. The role of the Wildlife Sales Membership Fundraiser is to engage with potential members in public setting to secure vital donations for the trust.

Salary: Average earnings of over £20 per hour. Base £14 ph during probation/ £12 ph post probation ( £12.50 from 1/4/25) or commission & bonus  

Employed role: Choose between 2-4 days per week. Positions available in various locations in Wiltshire

Founded in 1962, today Wiltshire Wildlife Trust is the leading charity in Wiltshire and Swindon working to achieve nature’s recovery and connect people with nature.

The Trust has over 40 nature reserves covering over 1,200 hectares (c. 2,900 acres), protecting some of Wiltshire’s most important meadows, downland, woods, fen and other valuable wildlife habitats. Most of our nature reserves have open public access, allowing people to benefit from nature through enhanced wellbeing and learning opportunities. Responsibilities

  • Engage local people in public spaces with a marketing display
  • Gain small monthly donations via membership
  • Working at good quality local venues (reserves, ethical food shops, shows/events, retail stores & garden centres etc)
  • Venues booked and supported by our specialist Venues Team

Requirements

  • Outgoing, passionate, with the confidence to inspire people to act
  • Ideally, experience of sales, fundraising or promotions
  • Love of wildlife, wanting to make a difference
  • Available 2-4 days/ week; flexible days
  • Access to a car and a full driving licence
