There are health and wellbeing benefits to spending time in nature. Just two hours a week is associated with good health and wellbeing, and it’s been shown to particularly tackle mild to moderate depression, feelings of stress, and anxiety.
Nature-based health and wellbeing programmes could save hundreds of millions of pounds each year and reduce society’s reliance on the NHS.
